Traditional Scything – Grass cutting without the mower

On 22nd of August we’ll be mowing the wild area of the orchard, and we’re going to do it the traditional way: by scything! Come along to find out more about management of grassland for biodiversity, wildflowers, and the orchard in general, as well as to see one of the oldest land management techniques in action.
